EVA Secretary General Carola Streul leaves EVA

EVA warmly celebrates Carola Streul, who in almost three decades of dedicated guidance and commitment to the cause of visual artists in Europe and worldwide, has been an outstanding representative for the EVA community. Carola stood up for visual artists and made EVA an important and respected partner in the political arena.

Her diplomatic and polite demeanor gained EVA and the visual community the respect that makes the organization an important stakeholder representative today and part of the rightsholders´ network across all cultural and creative sectors.

Following her vision, EVA became an observer at UNESCO and WIPO, and a partner of WIPO for Creators. EVA also became a recognized stakeholder to the European institutions and in groupings such as the CCFG (the Cultural Creators Friendship Group). We wish her all the best and thank her for her inspiring work since the beginning of the EVA mission in 1997.
